This one was taken awhile back at Meme and Pepe's house. The boys climbed up in a tree...and I snapped. I love Hayden in this shot - like...here I am, here I am!! Too cute!

This was taken on our last full day.

We were driving around looking at Vallecito Lake and the tree carvings.

We passed a pretty field of purple flowers.

You can't quite tell they're purple, but they are.

Today's Challenge...Clouds.
It WAS a real challenge.
There were no clouds.
Not a one.
Zilch.
And, it was a hot, HOT day.
Miserable, pretty much.
I finally managed to make it outside
to take this shot at about 7pm.
It was still warm.
But, not as miserable.
I layed down in the driveway.
Looked straight up.
And snapped.
My camera wouldn't focus...so
I had to include a piece of the palm tree.
Pure, beautiful blue sky.
So pretty.
But, I miss the clouds.
I remember looking up at the clouds as a child
and getting lost.
Finding shapes and objects.
Watching them move.
Daydreaming.

What I Wore Today

It was the AZ Girls Night Out - Crafters Event.

LOVED it.

Today - I wore a name tag that says Julie.

Talk about explaining that you are NOT Julie,

When you are wearing a name tag that says you ARE Julie.

And, you're sitting next TO Julie.

From the Silverton Train - I was able to capture some amazing (in my opinion) shots:

And, yes....these shots have been edited to make them pop a bit....fixed the blacks, lights, adjusted the saturation and emphasized the greens. I love how they turned out. So...if you don't - no need to let me know.
